Lumen Labs

Lumen Labs Limited

Terms of Service

Last updated 11 September 2026.

These terms apply to Crosslane and SIXTY, and to anything else we publish that links to them. They are a contract between you and us, so they are worth reading.

The short version: the games are free to play, you do not need an account, and if you choose a display name it is public. Do not pick an offensive or impersonating name, do not cheat or automate play, and we can remove a name or an account that does. We are in England, and if you are a consumer none of this takes away your legal rights.

1. Who we are

The games are made and operated by Lumen Labs Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16386579, with its registered office at 1 Woodlands, London, SW20 9JF, United Kingdom. We publish games under our imprint Red Vector Games.

In these terms, we, us and our mean Lumen Labs Limited. You means the person using a game. The games means Crosslane and SIXTY.

2. Accepting these terms

These terms apply when you download, install or play any of our games. By playing, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not play.

If you carry on playing after we change these terms, you accept the changed version. §13 says how we tell you about changes.

3. Your licence to use the games

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the games on a device you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial use.

You may not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute a game or any part of one.

What the games cost. The games are free to download and play. We do not charge you for them, and as these terms are written there are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. If we introduce advertising, purchases or paid features, we will update these terms and the relevant privacy policy before we do, and the date at the top of this page will say when.

Crosslane plays fully offline and does not require an account.

4. Accounts

You do not need an account to play. One is offered only once you have progress worth keeping, and creating it is your choice.

  • Minimum age. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for agreeing to terms like these, or for consenting to the use of your personal data, that higher age applies to you instead. Our games are not directed at children under 13.
  • Keeping your account secure. Keep your credentials, and access to the email address you signed up with, secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@lumenlabshq.com if you think someone else has access to it.
  • One person per account. An account is for one person. Do not share, sell or transfer it.
  • What an account stores. An account stores an email address. For Crosslane, your email address and password are held by Google Firebase Authentication and we never see your password. What each game stores, and why, is set out in its own privacy policy: Crosslane and SIXTY. Our company-level privacy policy covers both.
  • Deleting your account. You can delete it from inside the game at any time, or ask us through Crosslane support. Deleting removes your account, your saved progress, your leaderboard entry and your display name.

5. Acceptable use

A display name is shown to other players, which makes this the section that matters most.

Display names

If you choose a display name it appears on a public leaderboard alongside your score. Do not choose a name that:

  • is obscene, hateful, harassing, threatening or otherwise offensive;
  • impersonates another person, a company, or us;
  • is misleading about who you are, or implies an endorsement you do not have;
  • contains contact details or personal information, yours or anyone else's;
  • infringes someone else's rights, including trade marks;
  • is unlawful, or encourages anything unlawful.

Playing fairly

Do not:

  • cheat, or play using a modified or tampered copy of a game;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble a game, except where the law gives you that right and only so far as it does;
  • interfere with scoring, or submit a score you did not earn by playing;
  • automate play, including with bots, scripts, macros or emulated input;
  • attack, overload or probe our servers, or try to reach parts of them you are not entitled to;
  • use a game commercially without our written permission.

6. Our rights

If a display name or a score breaches §5, or we reasonably believe it does, we may remove it without notice. If your use of a game breaches these terms, we may suspend or delete your account.

Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why. If you think we have got it wrong, reply to support@lumenlabshq.com and we will look again.

We are not obliged to monitor what players submit, but we may.

7. Intellectual property

The games and everything in them that we made — code, artwork, level design, sound, the Crosslane and SIXTY names, and the Lumen Labs Limited and Red Vector Games names and logos — belong to us or are licensed to us. These terms give you no rights in them beyond the licence in §3.

Some assets in our games are third-party assets used under licence, including work by Kenney and Quaternius.

8. Availability

We try to keep the games working and available, but we do not promise that they always will be.

We may change a game, add or remove features, reset leaderboards, or stop publishing a game altogether. Where a change is significant and we can reasonably tell you in advance, we will.

The games depend on services we do not control, including the app stores and Google Firebase. We are not responsible for those being unavailable.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

Subject to that:

  • The games are provided as they are. Beyond what the law requires, we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that they will meet your particular needs.
  • We are not liable for the loss of saved progress, scores, leaderboard position or any in-game item.
  • We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you started using a game. If you use a game for a business purpose, which these terms do not permit, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts or goodwill.
  • The games are free, so where our liability can lawfully be capped, our total liability to you is limited to £100.

10. Ending this agreement

You can end it whenever you like, by deleting your account and uninstalling the game.

We can end it by suspending or deleting your account in the circumstances in §6, or if we stop publishing a game.

The sections that by their nature should outlast it — §7, §9 and §12 — carry on afterwards.

11. If you downloaded from the Apple App Store

This section applies to the iOS version of Crosslane. Where it conflicts with anything above, this section wins for that version.

  • These terms are between you and Lumen Labs Limited, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Crosslane and its content.
  • Your licence is to use Crosslane on any Apple-branded product you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Crosslane.
  • If Crosslane fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price if there was one. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Crosslane.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for any claim relating to Crosslane, including product liability, any failure to meet a legal requirement, and claims under consumer protection law.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that Crosslane infringes intellectual property rights.
  • You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a United States Government embargo, or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using Crosslane.
  • Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
  • Our contact details, for any question or complaint about Crosslane, are in §14.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and the mandatory consumer protection law of that country continues to apply to you. Otherwise the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms — for example when a game changes, or when the law does.

When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights we will give clearer notice: in the game, or by email if you have an account.

Carrying on playing after a change means you accept it. If you would rather not, you can stop playing and delete your account.
